According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the 3 U.S. states that added the highest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Transportation, Warehousing, and Utilities industry in July, 2003 were:

  1. Virginia: 1,600
  2. Georgia: 900
  3. Indiana: 700

On the other hand, the 3 U.S. states that added the lowest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Transportation, Warehousing, and Utilities industry in July, 2003 were:

  1. New York: -11,400
  2. Pennsylvania: -9,400
  3. New Jersey: -6,400
