According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Transportation, Warehousing, and Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2004:

  1. Texas: 3,000
  2. California: 2,700
  3. Ohio: 1,800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Transportation, Warehousing, and Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2004:
