According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Transportation, Warehousing, and Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2005:

  1. Texas: 3,600
  2. Michigan: 2,600
  3. Illinois: 1,700
