According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Transportation, Warehousing, and Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2005:

  1. New York: 14,000
  2. Pennsylvania: 13,000
  3. New Jersey: 8,200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Transportation, Warehousing, and Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2005:

  1. Louisiana: -4,800
