According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2008:

  1. Oklahoma: 300
  2. Indiana: 200
  3. Minnesota: 200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2008:

  1. Michigan: -500
