According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2010:

  1. Massachusetts: 300
  2. Illinois: 200
  3. Idaho: 100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Utilities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2010:

  1. Georgia: -1,600
  2. California: -1,300
  3. Alabama: -300
