According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Wholesale Trade industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2008:

  1. Illinois: 2,000
  2. Ohio: 1,700
  3. Michigan: 1,500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Wholesale Trade industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2008:

  1. California: -400
  2. Georgia: -300
  3. District of Columbia: 0
