  1. Indiana: 6,700
  2. Tennessee: 3,100
  3. New York: 3,000

On the other hand, the 3 U.S. states that added the lowest seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry in August, 2020 were:

  1. Washington: -2,500
  2. Texas: -700
  3. Michigan: -700
