  1. Michigan: 5,200
  2. California: 2,500
  3. Tennessee: 2,100

On the other hand, the 3 U.S. states that added the lowest seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry in May, 2021 were:

  1. South Carolina: -600
  2. Indiana: -500
  3. Alabama: -400
