- Texas: 9,700
- Alabama: 3,800
- Iowa: 3,400
On the other hand, the 3 U.S. states that added the lowest seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Government industry in July, 2013 were:
- Minnesota: -11,000
- Florida: -7,000
- Indiana: -6,100
