According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April 2010, the following commodities had the highest seasonally adjusted 12-month percent change in Producer Price Index (PPI):
- 0912 Recyclable paper: 118.9%
- 1023 Nonferrous scrap: 78.5%
- 0572 Kerosene and jet fuels: 70.8%
The first chart below shows the 12-month percent change in PPI by commodity for a selected group of commodities, and the second chart shows the PPI by commodity for the selected group of commodities. You can also use the control below to select your own commodities to see on the chart (at most 10). The table below have data on the PPI by commodity and the 12-month percent change for many more commodities in April 2010.
