According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April 2011, the following commodities had the highest seasonally adjusted 12-month percent change in Producer Price Index (PPI):
- 0122 Other grains: 108.9%
- 0581 Asphalt and other petroleum and coal products, n.e.c.: 69.5%
- 0641 Fats and oils, inedible: 54%
The first chart below shows the 12-month percent change in PPI by commodity for a selected group of commodities, and the second chart shows the PPI by commodity for the selected group of commodities. The table below have data on the PPI by commodity and the 12-month percent change for many more commodities in April 2011.
