According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March 2011, the following commodities had the highest seasonally adjusted 12-month percent change in Producer Price Index (PPI):
- 0122 Other grains: 85.2%
- 0581 Asphalt and other petroleum and coal products, n.e.c.: 74.5%
- 0641 Fats and oils, inedible: 51.3%
The first chart below shows the 12-month percent change in PPI by commodity for a selected group of commodities, and the second chart shows the PPI by commodity for the selected group of commodities.
