According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July 2015, the following industries had the highest not seasonally adjusted 12-month percent change in PPI:
- 424 Merchant wholesalers, nondurable goods: 5.4%
- 523 Security, commodity contracts and like activity: 4.8%
- 721 Accommodation: 4.7%
The first chart below shows the 12-month percent change in PPI by industry for a selected group of industries, and the second chart shows the PPI by industry for the selected group of industries. You can also use the control below to select your own industries to see on the chart (at most 10). The table below have data on the PPI by industry and the 12-month percent change for many more industries in July 2015.

The Producer Price Index (PPI) measures the average change over time in prices received (price changes) by producers for domestically produced goods, services, and construction; PPIs measure the price change from the seller's perspective.
