According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2023 Q2, South Carolina added 1,003 number of private business establishments in the goods-producing industry. Among all South Carolina counties, Greenville added the highest number of private business establishments (113), followed by Charleston (79), and Horry (70).
