According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2023 Q2, Alaska added -2 number of private business establishments in the natural resources and mining industry. Among all Alaska counties, Kenai Peninsula added the highest number of private business establishments (1), followed by Kodiak Island (1), and Matanuska-Susitna (1).
