According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2023 Q2, Hawaii added 1,094 number of private business establishments in the service-providing industry. Among all Hawaii counties, Honolulu added the highest number of private business establishments (267), followed by Hawaii (111), and Maui + Kalawao (86).
