According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2023 Q2, Maryland added -1,449 number of private business establishments in the service-providing industry. Among all Maryland counties, Somerset added the highest number of private business establishments (1), followed by Caroline (-3), and Dorchester (-4).
