According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2023 Q2, New Jersey added 13,320 number of private business establishments in the service-providing industry. Among all New Jersey counties, Bergen added the highest number of private business establishments (1,246), followed by Essex (1,168), and Middlesex (1,026).
