According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the federal government manufacturing industry (58), followed by Illinois (39), and Hawaii (32).

On the other hand, Maine added the least number of jobs (-21), followed by Oklahoma (-5), and Texas (-4).
