According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the federal government service-providing industry (1,057), followed by Virginia (811), and Texas (573).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-43), followed by Kentucky (-3), and New Hampshire (3).
