According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, Hawaii added the highest number of jobs to the federal government service-providing industry (172), followed by Michigan (152), and Arizona (145).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-1,215), followed by Virginia (-1,163), and California (-482).
