According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2019, Alaska added the highest number of jobs to the federal government trade, transportation, and utilities industry (), followed by Arizona (), and Arkansas ().

On the other hand, Alabama added the least number of jobs (-299), followed by Wyoming (), and Wisconsin ().
