According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, Michigan added the highest number of jobs to the federal government trade, transportation, and utilities industry (48), followed by Alabama (35), and Louisiana (20).

On the other hand, Ohio added the least number of jobs (-210), followed by California (-180), and North Carolina (-95).
