According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, North Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the federal government education and health services industry (268), followed by Florida (169), and California (156).

On the other hand, Oklahoma added the least number of jobs (-66), followed by Massachusetts (-41), and Maryland (-40).
