According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2020, Alabama added the highest number of jobs to the federal government general merchandise stores industry (11), followed by Utah (7), and Arkansas (5).

On the other hand, North Carolina added the least number of jobs (-71), followed by California (-49), and Hawaii (-41).
