According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2021, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the federal government general merchandise stores industry (71), followed by New York (17), and Alabama (11).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-104), followed by Virginia (-51), and Florida (-22).
