According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2021, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the federal government general merchandise stores industry (37), followed by Oklahoma (16), and South Carolina (11).

On the other hand, Hawaii added the least number of jobs (-53), followed by North Carolina (-48), and California (-34).
