According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2021, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the federal government finance and insurance industry (9), followed by West Virginia (7), and Illinois (5).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-6), followed by Washington (-3), and California (-3).
