According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2019, New Jersey added the highest number of jobs to the federal government scientific research and development services industry (1), followed by New York (1), and Rhode Island (1).

On the other hand, Maryland added the least number of jobs (-16), followed by Massachusetts (-6), and Washington (-5).
