According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, North Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the federal government health care and social assistance industry (131), followed by Georgia (125), and Texas (122).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-623), followed by Alabama (-63), and New York (-55).
