According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, Washington added the highest number of jobs to the federal government health care and social assistance industry (48), followed by Alabama (45), and Missouri (35).

On the other hand, Pennsylvania added the least number of jobs (-140), followed by New York (-137), and Florida (-133).
