According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2021, Maine added the highest number of jobs to the federal government health care and social assistance industry (17), followed by Mississippi (12), and Arkansas (10).

On the other hand, Florida added the least number of jobs (-280), followed by California (-212), and Texas (-188).
