According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2019, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the federal government general medical and surgical hospitals industry (177), followed by California (128), and New York (56).

On the other hand, Georgia added the least number of jobs (-40), followed by Maine (-29), and Massachusetts (-10).
