According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, North Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the federal government general medical and surgical hospitals industry (96), followed by Pennsylvania (86), and Texas (68).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-659), followed by New York (-58), and Minnesota (-50).
