According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, Alabama added the highest number of jobs to the federal government general medical and surgical hospitals industry (41), followed by Missouri (41), and Washington (40).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-166), followed by Texas (-148), and Pennsylvania (-139).
