According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, California added the highest number of jobs to the federal government general medical and surgical hospitals industry (130), followed by Georgia (118), and Texas (82).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-114), followed by Alabama (-46), and Rhode Island (-43).
