According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the federal government general medical and surgical hospitals industry (30), followed by Maine (28), and New York (28).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-141), followed by South Dakota (-43), and Florida (-42).
