According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2019, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the federal government social assistance industry (29), followed by Kentucky (24), and South Carolina (12).

On the other hand, Kansas added the least number of jobs (-19), followed by Hawaii (-17), and Texas (-16).
