According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, Kansas added the highest number of jobs to the federal government social assistance industry (40), followed by Hawaii (35), and Washington (33).

On the other hand, Maryland added the least number of jobs (-57), followed by Virginia (-30), and Oklahoma (-25).
