According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the federal government arts, entertainment, and recreation industry (471), followed by Connecticut (9), and Alabama (1).

On the other hand, Virginia added the least number of jobs (-111), followed by Utah (-104), and Alaska (-102).
