According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the federal government public administration industry (1,156), followed by Virginia (537), and Montana (427).

On the other hand, Maine added the least number of jobs (-7), followed by New Hampshire (0), and Oregon (3).
