According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the federal government public administration industry (1,479), followed by Idaho (780), and Montana (644).

On the other hand, Tennessee added the least number of jobs (-115), followed by New York (-87), and Vermont (-52).
