According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2022, Indiana added the highest number of jobs to the federal government public administration industry (294), followed by Illinois (290), and Oklahoma (289).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-1,420), followed by Virginia (-1,401), and Montana (-556).
