According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2022, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the federal government public administration industry (480), followed by Texas (76), and Vermont (43).

On the other hand, Maryland added the least number of jobs (-744), followed by Colorado (-527), and California (-450).
