According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2023, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the federal government public administration industry (890), followed by California (878), and Maryland (807).

On the other hand, South Carolina added the least number of jobs (-190), followed by Nebraska (-35), and Arkansas (-24).
