According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the federal government public administration industry (1,065), followed by Mississippi (494), and Texas (206).

On the other hand, Utah added the least number of jobs (-386), followed by California (-304), and Michigan (-282).
