According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2019, Alabama added the highest number of jobs to the federal government justice, public order, and safety activities industry (8), followed by Ohio (7), and Connecticut (6).

On the other hand, Virginia added the least number of jobs (-480), followed by Texas (-227), and California (-192).
