According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the federal government justice, public order, and safety activities industry (82), followed by Texas (69), and Maryland (43).

On the other hand, Georgia added the least number of jobs (-57), followed by Colorado (-31), and New Mexico (-18).
