According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the federal government administration of environmental programs industry (1,816), followed by Idaho (1,064), and Montana (736).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-371), followed by Georgia (-183), and Kentucky (-167).
